SUBSTANCE: heater may be used in any industry, where low-temperature heating of liquid and gaseous media, such as water, liquid technical media, oils, air and similar media, is required in running mode. The electric heater for running fluid media with a flexible heating element comprises a rigid body, preferably of cylindrical shape, inside of which there is a flat foiled resistive element at the angle to direction of the medium motion, the body of the element is made as bent according to the shape of the body and arranged in turns along its entire area of cross section with a guaranteed gap between adjacent turns. The surface of the foiled resistive element is arranged in parallel to the inner wall of the rigid body.

EFFECT: reduced electric energy when heating a medium due to increased area of contact with a heating element and increased service life of a heating element itself by means of elimination of deposits from a medium on a heating element.
