FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for thermal distillation purification of water can be used to desalinate sea water, treat industrial wastes with high content of hardness salts and evaporate solutions to obtain a dry residue. The apparatus has a heat exchanger housing, heated elements in form of a nozzle and water inlet and steam outlet pipes. The apparatus is equipped with a mechanism for removing and cleaning the nozzle from scales and a mixer-type heater for heating the water to be desalinated or purified. The mechanism for removing and cleaning the nozzle from scales has a revolving drum.
EFFECT: high repairability of the apparatus and recycling secondary heat.
