FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: high heat treatment of material processing is carried out with the solid heat carrier, consisting of the particles or bodies, larger than the material being processed, which is loaded in counterflow mode against the current of the material being processed. Moreover, the counterflow mode is created by supporting the processed material and the solid heat carrier from the opposite sides of their loading into the device for heating the moving material. The heating device is made in the form of the rotating drum or the vibratory tray, having the thresholds from the loading and unloading side. From the loading side of the processed material there is the device for unloading the solid heat carrier. The threshold from the material unloading side is made meshed with the cell, the size of which is smaller than the solid heat carrier particle size and at the same time it is larger than the particle size of the processed material.
EFFECT: intensification of the heat transfer process.
