FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: ball hinge for a transport vehicle has housing (1) and ball pin (2), the ball head (3) of which is installed in insert (6) of a support with possibility of being rotated and turned. Insert (6) of the support has a metal plate strip provided with grooves and plastically deformed for formation of the support insert or a composite part of the support insert. Besides, a production method of an insert composite part: a ball hinge support of such a kind is proposed.

EFFECT: development of a ball hinge, the support insert of which provides for possibility of certain compensation of elasticity, and thus, it has return properties; with that, required stiffness of the support insert is not affected.
