FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: ball joint has housing, pin with ball head, first shell installed in housing and enclosing the ball head from side of its base, and second shell made on inner surface with longitudinal grooves and ring step and enclosing the ball head at opposite side of its base. It has also holder secured on housing, and protective hood. Ball head has flat pole surface. Second shell is provided with intersecting grooves on inner surface whose spaces are connected with spaces of longitudinal grooves of lower bearing. Holder is rigidly coupled with rolled in edge of inlet hole of housing. Shells are made of carbon-filled plastic Diameter of flat pole surface of ball head does not exceed half the diameter of ball bead. Second shell is provided with cavity, diameter not exceeding 3 mm, in center of its inner surface.
