METHOD OF ACCELERATED STABILITY ASSESSMENT OF PEA VARIETIES TO Bruchus pisorum L Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC A01H1/04

Abstract RU 2500099 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture. The invention represents a method of accelerated stability assessment of pea varieties to Bruchus pisorum L. which lies in the fact that the generative organs are analysed in the middle phase of the tenth stage of organogenesis, according to the invention the seed cover of grains is used as generative organs, in which the amount of phenolic compounds is determined, with their content in the seed cover of grains of less than 724 mg % the susceptibility of pea to Bruchus pisorum L. is diagnosed, and when the content of phenolic compounds in the amount is more than 1165 mg % the pea resistance to this pest is diagnosed, at that if the total content of phenolic compounds in the seed cover of pea grains ranges from 724 mg % to 1165 mg %, the belonging of the variety under study to a particular group of damage is determined by comparing the content of sum of the phenolic compounds in the seed cover of pea grains to the percentage of seed damage by Bruchus pisorum L.: less than 10% - the resistant varieties, more than 10% - the susceptible varieties.

EFFECT: invention enables to accelerate the stability assessment of pea varieties to Bruchus pisorum L.
