FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and describes biodegradable polymer carriers for delivery of anti-cancer drugs, particularly taxane and anthracycline antibiotic compounds. The biodegradable polymer carrier represents a polymer with its macromolecular structure being L-lysine fragments and asparaginic acid β-hydrazide and/or glutamic acid γ-hydrazide fragments. The L-lysine fragments form a linear polymer chain, while the asparaginic acid β-hydrazide and/or glutamic acid γ-hydrazide fragments form linear polymer chains with the latter being engrafted to L-lysine έ -amino groups.
EFFECT: biodegradable polymer carrier is able to bind to an anti-cancer drug to form degradable bonds in human physiologic environments.
