FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device allows transfer of working rolls 2, 3 or support rolls 4, 5 from rolling mill 6 to roll shop by means of locomotive 9 running on track 7. Transfer of various rolls with complicated affixment mechanisms by one locomotive is possible owing to different heights h1, h2 of the track 7, 8 for transfer of rolls 2, 3, 4, 6 by locomotive 9 and lifting table 11 to lift or to down locomotive 9 to one of said levels h1 and h2 for it to delivered to appropriate track 7, 8.
EFFECT: simplified handling and/or transfer.
