FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: rolling force determination device defines actual rolling force at the last rolling mill to feed defined magnitude to control device. The latter defines at least one control effect (δs1*, δv') and outputs defined magnitude, immediately after said last rolling mill actual strip thickness is defined and sent to thickness control device to affect said last rolling mill. Dynamics of strip thickness error processing is defined by using another strip thickness gage ahead of the last rolling mill to define another actual strip thickness d. Speed determination device are used to define speeds (v, v') whereat strip enters the last mill and exits it. Magnitudes of speed (v, v') and preset final thickness (d*) are output to device for determination of nominal strip thickness (d'*). Note here that said nominal thickness (d'*) and another actual thickness (d') are sent to another control device to control mill stand next to last 3.
EFFECT: mobile control of cold rolling tandem mill.
