FIELD: rolling.
SUBSTANCE: first, metal strip (1) is rolled in front and then in rear rolling mill (2a, 2b) of multi-stand rolling mill. Loop elevator (3) applied between rolling stands (2a, 2b) to metal strip (1) records the strip prevailing in metal strip (1). Strip tension (Z) is supplied to first and second tension regulators (8, 9), which determine additional design value (δs*, δF*) of certain adjustment parameters and additional design value (δv*) speed. Second tension controller (9) determines as additional design value (δv*) speed value is less than or greater than 0, only if, if the strip tension (Z) is lower or higher than the upper or lower (Z1, Z2) of the strip tension. Otherwise, it returns an additional calculated value (δv*) speed to value equal to 0. First tension regulator (8) is additionally supplied with design tension (Z*), which is located between boundaries (Z1, Z2) of the strip tension. First tension controller (8) determines additional design value (δs*, δF*) adjustment. Additional design value (δs*, δF*) of adjustment acts on rear rolling stand (2b). Additional design value (δv*) speed acts with positive sign on front rolling mill (2a) or with negative sign on rear rolling mill (2b).
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to stabilize rolling process and to increase accuracy of dimensions, in particular, thickness of strip, despite disturbing effects.
