SUBSTANCE: invention relates to guide for metal forming machine 1 composed of lengthwise guides 3a, 3b to be located no both sides 2a, 2b of the material. Note here that at least one lengthwise guide 3a, 3b of at least one mount 4 can be forced to material 1. Straight material feed path and reduced wear of guides are ensured by making at least one lengthwise guide 3a, 3b shifting along crosswise guide beam 9. Drive chamber 7 is integrated into said transverse guide beam 9. Piston 6 is fitted inside said chamber 7 to reciprocate therein and rigidly coupled with lengthwise guide 3a, 3b. Transverse guide beam 9 features cylindrical shape. Note also that drive chamber 7 is composed of a cavity at transverse beam end.
