FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: compact bundles without twisting or overlapping are produced owing to that the device interacting with unloading end of conveyor 4 defining the firs plane comprises crosswise supporting bards 2 located in second pane parallel with each other, means to drive them along said second plane from first intake position to second position, means to unload the bars into accumulation mobile container 5 at speed preventing shift of the bars, and first props 7 interacting with said support bars 2. Second plane is inclined to first plane at 1-20 degrees so that bars down by gravity and run about their axes to roll over the surfaces of bars 2 to produce uniform layer of bars on bars 2. Container 5 has separated horizontal thrust surfaces, each being located at appropriate bar 2. Container 5 interact with opposed first and second props 7, 8 and displaces from first to second position 5' at roll table 6 arranged there under. Proposed method comprises appropriate jobs.
EFFECT: continuous working cycle.
