FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: honeycomb element (1) with at least one housing (2) and with at least one honeycomb structure (3) for system (4) of reduction of toxicity of waste gases (WG), which has one metal plate (5). Plate represents shaped foil (9) for formation of honeycomb structure (3) of honeycomb element (1) and/or forms housing (2) of honeycomb element (1). Metal plate (5) in section (6) occupying its whole surface has elevations (7) and peripheral circuit (8) enveloping them. Share of the surface area occupied with elevations (7) in the above section (6) of a metal plate is at least 80%, and height (H) of elevations (7), which is measured from peripheral circuit (8), is equal maximum to four-time thickness (D) of metal plate (5) and/or housing (2).
EFFECT: providing a more compact design and high efficiency of reduction of toxic WG.
