FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, particularly orthopaedics and traumatology, and may be applied in treating hip dislocation. A intertrochanteric detorsion-varus hip osteotomy along the femoral neck is combined with punch driving, bone wedge exsection and iliopsoas resection. Then following a medical surface of the femoral neck, a joint capsule is detached using a sub-periosteal technique. A joint cavity is approached. Soft tissues are removed from the joint cavity, and round and transverse ligaments are incised. A femoral head is reset into the socket and fixed at the level of the above socket with pins delivered through the neck or greater trochanter. The joint capsule is closed.
EFFECT: method enables resetting the femoral head without damaging the joint capsule vessels and involving the joint components excessively that provides avoiding potential aseptic necrosis of the femoral head and arthrosis of the operated joint.
