METHOD FOR PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF REFRACTION VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS AND DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC A61F9/00 A61H5/00 G02C7/00

Abstract RU 2501538 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to ophthalmology and may be applicable for prevention and/or treatment of refraction visual impairments. The method for prevention and/or treatment of refraction visual impairments involves creating an optical focus through optical elements on a retinal fovea. The optical focus is created on the periphery on an eye ground in front of the retina in one meridian and behind the retina in the other meridian perpendicular to the first one. A device for prevention and treatment of the refraction visual impairments comprises optical elements with a front surface and an optical centre; the optical elements are presented by lenses with asymmetrical vertical refraction distribution through a geometrical centre of the lens oriented in the device so that the refraction moving from the geometrical centre asymmetrically increases monotonically from both sides of the vertical line passing through the geometrical centre of the lens; the refraction either remains unchanged, or decreases monotonically as compared to the refraction in the geometrical centre in relation to a horizontal line perpendicular to the vertical line through the geometrical centre.

EFFECT: developing the method for prevention and/or treatment of the refraction visual impairments.
