DEVICE FOR PREVENTION AND/OR TREATMENT OF REFRACTIVE VIOLATIONS OF VISION Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61F9/00 G02C7/02

Abstract RU 2644283 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Device for the prevention and/or treatment of progressive myopia (hyperopia) includes optical elements, each of them has a front and a back surface, optical center, nasal and temporal, vertical and horizontal, passing through the optical center. Moreover, the optical element has a central zone with stable refraction for distance, it is nonaxisymmetrically surrounded by an annular zone of refraction progression (degression), to its outer edge with the nasal and temporal sides are different in size and the refractive peripheral zone with a stable refraction is stronger (weaker) of refraction of the Central zone, and the bottom adjacent area with addition for near vision, from the outer boundary of the annular zone between the boundaries of the adjacent zones in all directions, the refraction monotonically decreases (increases). Use of optical elements in the form of spectacles in the usual treatment regulates the ratio of the values of axial and off-axis refraction of the eye, changes the ratio of the refractive values of the nasal and temporal halves, changes the thickness of the vascular eye, increases accommodation, changes the sign of spherical aberration in the eye, preserves and enhances binocular vision.

EFFECT: multivariate permanent synergistic effect, while using the device, prevents the risk of myopia, and when it manifests stops the increase in axial refraction or reduces the force of axial refraction, or slows the progression of myopia, and in subjects with hypermetropia, on the contrary, the magnitude of axial refraction increases.
