SUBSTANCE: group of inventions discloses chimeric polypeptides, based immunogenic compositions, as well as methods for increasing milk and lean meat production involving vaccination with the above peptides. The chimeric polypeptides possess the immunogenicity of somatostatin and comprise an amino acid sequence of somatostatin-14 related to an inactive and shortened polypeptide of chloramphenicol acetyl transferase wherein somatostatin-14 is bound to inactive chloramphenicol acetyl transferase by means of a spacer.
EFFECT: given peptides possess better immunogenicity that enables using them in smaller doses in treating cows and farm animals.
