FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: in process of estimation of terrain trafficability, analysis is carried out in accordance with a geomorphological map of area of controlling factors, such as sections of genetically homogeneous surfaces. Identified sections are grouped in classes, which are close in morphometric characteristics and character of soils. Identified classes are calibrated according to the speed of movement of moving objects (vehicles of different types - tracklaying machines, wheeled machines, and also pedestrian groups), areas are combined with equal speeds of motion for each type of moving objects, and final trafficability maps are formed for each type of moving objects.
EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities.
