SUBSTANCE: method includes selecting a territory of distribution of different geomorphological formations on a geomorphological map; calibrating the territory of geomorphological formations based on a quantitative criterion - the number of passages for mixed convoys of off-road vehicles and tracked vehicles (column routes) by one kilometre of the front; merging regions with the same transport penetration and forming the resultant maps.
EFFECT: shorter time for plotting a route for rapid connections, route optimisation, high reliability of management decisions owing to exclusion of impenetrable and rough sections of an area.
