SUBSTANCE: user terminal has a modulation unit configured for a system in which a plurality of resource elements are defined in the frequency domain in the system bandwidth and in the time domain, a subframe includes a first slot and a second slot, and each of said resource elements has a length equal to one slot in the time domain. The modulation unit maps user terminal data to resource elements with different bandwidths in the first slot and the second slot; and a transmitting unit configured to transmit the mapped data.

EFFECT: providing a user terminal which enables to apply frequency hopping for E-UTRA system uplink radio access.
