SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method which involves collecting a set of neighbour cellular user equipment (UE) interferences from at least one neighbour cellular UE at a device-to-device (D2D) UE at least in part based on resource allocation information for said at least one neighbour cellular UE in a decoded first uplink radio resource management (RRM) message; calculating a first set of average neighbour cellular UE interferences. The method also involves decoding a second RRM from said base station; predicting at least one interference scenario at least in part based on the first set of average neighbour cellular UE interferences and said decoded second RRM message; selecting a resource for data transmission to a pairing D2D UE based at least in part on said predicted interference scenario and transmitting data to the pairing D2D UE using the selected resource.
EFFECT: enabling resource sharing by a set of D2D UE and neighbour cellular UE.
