SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Catheter contains elongated case, distal element, handle and unit of magnetic sensors. Distal element is located distally with respect to case and has support element. Handle is located proximally with respect to case. Element of winding of unit of magnetic sensors is wound on support element. Cable is switched to element of winding in the connection area. Signal, transmitted from element of winding to system of mapping and location determination by cable, contains information about location. The connection area ensures compensation of tightening for element of winding and cable to prevent their disconnection. The connection area has sags of element of winding. Unit of magnetic sensors contains proximal and distant sensors unit. Insulating tube of proximal sensor is located between element of winding and support element. Cable of distal sensor passes between insulating tube and support element.
EFFECT: application of the invention will make it possible to increase accuracy in determination of location of distal end of catheter.
