FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of shaped swivel blades W intended, for example, for wood cutting. Said blades consist of proximal bearing part 2 with seat 21, 22 for split joint of blade W and distal part including cutting edges 52 and cutting zones 5 on both sides of bearing part 2. Long workpiece 1 is subjected to surface machining to roll therefrom said bearing section 2. Distal sections 23 of long bearing part 2 deformed in rollers are removed axially symmetric in lengthwise direction in one pass to form connection surfaces 31. Add-on part 4 from tool steel is secured at every said machined surface 31 by metallic joint 41 to cut cutting zones thereat, each with blade zone 51 and cutting edge 52. Note here that edge zones 5 are subjected to thermal treatment cut to lengths to get swivel blades W ready for use.
EFFECT: optimised profiles of said blades.
