FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed workpiece comprises at least one first and one second bearing ribbons and several rectangular segments made from starting material intended for saw cutting edges. Note here the aforesaid first and second bearing ribbons, as well as aforesaid segments feature the first and second face sides. The first face side is narrower that second face side. First and second bearing ribbons are jointed with aforesaid segments along their narrower face side to allow producing two bimetal ribbons with segments, when finished workpiece is cut along separating line. Proposed method comprises workpiece cutting step using cutting laser to produce two parts of sawing blades or ribbons.
EFFECT: lower labor input, higher efficiency.
