SUBSTANCE: receiver for cuttings is attached to the assembly of cutting elements of the trimmer for averruncation of hedge. The receiver comprises a receiving part that is located on one side of the assembly of the cutting elements, which has a plurality of cutting edges at least on the opposite side and is aimed at receiving of branches and leaves cut by the plurality of cutting edges. According to the first version the receiving part comprises a longitudinal rib which extends in the longitudinal direction of the assembly of the cutting elements, and which prevents falling of the branches and leaves received. According to the second version the receiving part has a plurality of protrusions which are formed on at least a part of the edge of the receiving part to prevent falling of the branches and leaves received. According to a third version the receiving part has a rough surface which prevents falling of the branches and leaves received. The trimmer for averruncation of hedge comprises a main housing comprising a prime mover, an assembly of cutting elements, supported by the main housing and made so as to be driven by the prime mover, and the receiver of cuttings, which is attached to the assembly of cutting elements.
