SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a sensor plate (1), an apparatus (100), and a method for measuring the wear condition on the sliding surface (2) of the sensor plate (1) during the operation of a rolling mill and a method for scheduling the production of a rolling mill accounting for the measurement of said wear. The apparatus (100) comprises a measuring apparatus (120) containing sensors (121) of wear of the sensor plate (1) integrated into the support sliding surface (2) for detecting the removal of material on the support sliding surface (2) on wear, and an assessment apparatus (A) connected at least with the possibility of transmitting signals with the wear sensors (121) or, accordingly, the measuring sensors (10), and configured to receive the values of signals from the sensor and, in particular, individual wear sensors (121). The assessment apparatus (A) is configured to detect a change, in particular, an increase, in the value of ohmic resistance of an electrical conductor of a specific wear sensor (121) depending on its own material removal in order to thereby provide a conclusion, based on the detected change in the value of resistance, on the value of material removal on the support sliding surface (2) and/or about the residual thickness of the support sliding surface (2) at the location of said specific wear sensor (121).

EFFECT: creation of "intelligent wear measurement" for a rolling mill, used to determine at any time, in particular, during the rolling process, which wear condition or, accordingly, degree of wear, has occurred and on which sensor plate.
