FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: proposed flow metre comprises case 1, terminal box 2 and metering tube. Magnetic system composed by two magnetic field excitation coils 3, 4 with cores 5, 6 is arranged on metering tube outer surface.Two opposed holes to house electrodes 7, 8 are made in metering tube. Electric wires 9 from magnetic field excitation coils 3, 4 and electrodes 7, 8 are bought to terminal box 2. Said metering tube consists of five sections: mid section 19, two intermediate sections 11, 12 and two extreme sections 13, 14. Note here that mid section 10 has flat inner surfaces 15 at seats of said cores 5, 6 and cylindrical inner side surfaces 16. Intermediate sections 11, 12 expand from mid section 10 to smoothly change into extreme cylindrical sections 13, 14 Said cores 5, 6 feature rectangular or T-shape cross-section.
