FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method of cleaning measurement parts of fluid medium flow metres involves additional generation of a magnetic field on the working part for measuring flow rate by applying direct voltage and a variable magnetic field different from the operating frequency of the working part. For this purpose, a magnetic system consisting of magnetising coils is put in front of the measuring element, where the coils can consist of several windings arranged in series or coils with cores which are perpendicular to the direction of movement of the measured medium. The coils can also be made on three-leg cores with magnetising coils placed on the working part for measuring flow rate perpendicular the direction of movement of the measured medium.

EFFECT: ensuring stable operation of measuring parts of flow metres, matching operating modes and preventing interference in the operating mode of fluid medium flow metres.
