FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of selective label contact with moving container and to unit for selective contact of one or more regions of label with moving container, wherein unit includes: moving frame, wherein frame includes at least one frame element, moving with possibility to turn about turn axis; smoothing device engaged with frame element and moving with it; and element, driven by cam attached to frame and moved with it. Wherein moving of element driven by cam corresponds to moving of container and label, which is brought into contact with smoothing device resulting in label selectively brining into contact with moving container by smoothing device.

EFFECT: smoothing device comprises flexible blade, to which smoothing element is attached for contact with label and its smoothing.
