FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves cleaning and degreasing of a product surface, application of a copper-containing paste onto it by means of a mechanical method, and heat treatment of the above surface is performed by its heating in hydrocarbon. The method involves application onto the product surface of the paste containing cupric oxalate and 0.1-6.0 wt % of water-free sodium tetraborate and mixed with ceresin pre-heated up to 90-95°C; heat treatment is performed at 340°C and atmospheric pressure, and the obtained coating is cleaned from ceresin residues.
EFFECT: invention allows obtaining a strong copper coating of high purity and homogeneity on the surface of products from glass, ceramics and metals.
