FIELD: chemistry; various technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of current-conducting films based on silver nanowires. With constant stirring, a solution of silver nitrate in ethylene glycol is prepared with concentration of silver cations of 0.001–0.05 mol/l, to which polyvinylpyrrolidone is added until concentration of monomer units is 0.01–0.1 mol/l, then hexahydrate of iron chloride is added until its concentration is 0.00005–0.0005 mol/l. Final solution is heated in an oil bath at temperature of 110–170 °C to form silver nanowires, which are separated from the mother solution, are washed with distilled water and ethyl alcohol. Silver nanowires are dispersed in ethylene glycol at concentration of 1–5 wt.% to obtain functional ink, which are placed in a dispenser of a micro-extrusion printer and a film of the required geometry is printed on the surface of a pre-cleaned and degreased substrate. Stepwise heat treatment is performed at 70–150 °C for 10–120 minutes to evaporate ethylene glycol and form a current-conducting film.

EFFECT: simplified production of current-conducting films based on silver particles, possibility of targeted application of functional ink on given surface of substrate and formation of current-conducting silver films of complex geometry.
