FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: when using coal-water fuel (CWF) in furnaces of boiler units, a problem is represented with temperature drop in a module for preparation of fuel mixture at CWF supply, which has negative effect on a fuel gasification process; as a result, insufficient amount of a gas constituent is formed for reliable cold start-up of the boiler and maintaining stable combustion on low loads. In order to solve this problem at the boiler lighting-up or maintaining combustion on low loads, coal-water fuel is supplied to different points of the module for preparation of a fuel mixture, and namely to a zone near flame formed with a high-temperature heat source and to a connection zone of the above module to the furnace. The amount of 10 to 50% of pass volume of a fuel line is supplied to the zone near flame, and the amount of 0 to 100% of pass volume of a fuel line is supplied to the connection zone of the module to the furnace.

EFFECT: providing reliable gasification of supplied fuel; the whole supplied fuel is changed over to gas state and can be ignited easily.
