FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to submarines destructing the ice cover by resonance flexural-gravity waves. Proposed method consists in excitation of resonance flexural-gravity waves in ice at submarine motion. Note here that, additionally, hydraulic impact is created by abrupt braking of submarine and local hydraulic drag is created at submarine aft at braking. Said local hydraulic drag is created by alternating opening and closing of vertical and horizontal aft rudders at frequency equal to that of excited waves.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of ice breaking.
