SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. The image processing apparatus has an image forming module designed to form an image and generate an image signal; a processing module designed to generate, based on the image signal, first video data comprising a plurality of frames, and second video data, having a higher resolution than frames contained in the first video data; an encoding unit designed to compress the first and second video data transmitted from the processing module, and recording said data in a storage module; an image generating module designed to detect a motion vector between frames contained in the first video data obtained from the storage module, wherein the frame of the first video data is magnified to the same resolution as the frame in the second video data, and for performing motion compensation on the frame situated between a given frame contained in the first video data and a frame contained in the second video data, and successively generate image data with compensated motion based on the frame with compensated motion, and the detected motion vector.
EFFECT: providing motion compensation with high accuracy.
