FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry. Charge layer is applied on part surface that contains the following components in wt %: boron carbide - 25-35, sodium fluoride - 1-3, borax - 9-12 and sormite grit - 50-65, layer thickness making 0.5-5.0 mm. The part is heated in inductor by HF currents at specific power of 1.5-3.0 kW at 40-80 kHz per 1 cm2 of part surface for 1.5-5 minutes till charge layer surface fusing. Glassy slag crust is formed at fused layer surface. After heating, said part is air cooled to below 200°C to remove said glassy crust.

EFFECT: higher durability.
