FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of petrochemistry. Described is method of obtaining tertiary butanol by hydration of isobutylene, which is contained in hydrocarbon fractions, under higher temperature and pressure in presence of heterogenic acidic catalysts, which includes supply of water and initial hydrocarbon fraction into flow type reactor, separation from obtained products of concentrated water solution of tertiary butanol and hydrocarbons which did not react, by rectification, with further supply of the latter in counterflow manner with water into reactor of reaction-extraction type and output from it of water solution of tertiary butanol, in which initial hydrocarbon fraction is supplied into flow type reactor in form of single phase mixture with water and concentrated water solution of tertiary butanol, containing 5-20 wt % of water, with weight ratio of tertiary butanol solution and hydrocarbon fraction being from 0.4 to 1.1.
EFFECT: simplification of technology, increase of specific productivity of the process.
