FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: method involves dumping of an initial tier of dump rocks onto an inclined base with height H that is determined based on the following condition: $$H=\sqrt{\frac{2\cdot V_o\cdot K}{K_o\cdot L_o\cdot (\frac{1}{tg\alpha +tg\beta })}},$$ where V_O - overburden rock volume, m³; K - coefficient of water content in paste-like tails after concentrating ore processing; K_O - overburden ratio; L_o - dump length, m; α - natural angle of slope of overburden rock dump, degrees; β - surface slope, degrees, and between the inclined base and slope of the initial dump tier there stockpiled are paste-like tails after concentrating ore processing.

EFFECT: possibility of stockpiling paste-like tails after concentrating ore processing onto the inclined base so that a dump tier stability is maintained.
