FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: label for bottle, particularly for bottle of wine or sparkling wine, comprises at least a solid body of a ceramic material reproducing written characters in high and/or low relief. The said solid body comprises at least a first layer of terracotta and at least a second layer. The said first layer reproduces the said written characters in high and/or low relief, and the said second layer is a layer of enamel covering the said first layer so as to cover uniformly the said written characters.
EFFECT: label is resistant to moisture attack and eliminates moisture absorption and destruction of the label.
