FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: klystron comprises a cathode and an anode installed in a vacuum chamber and connected to an external source of power supply, a resonant structure with an output resonator, comprising two cavities, inner and outer, relative to the electron beam trajectory. The resonant structure is surrounded with a device for generation of a master magnetic field. In the output resonator apart from the inner cavity the outer one is also equipped with a facility of radiation release, at the same time both cavities are tuned to the same frequency.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of using energy of an electron beam.
