FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: drilling product includes a part from cemented carbide, a connection phase containing non-organic particles and matrix metal and/or metal alloy, and a part from non-cemented carbide. Total volume of parts from cemented carbide is at least 5% of total volume of the product. Fusion point of non-organic particles exceeds fusion point of matrix material. The part from non-cemented carbide includes a metal part including grains of at least of one of tungsten, alloy of tungsten, tantalum, alloy of tantalum, molybdenum, alloy of molybdenum, niobium and alloy of niobium, which are dispersed in a continuous matrix of metal or metal alloy. The method involves filling of space between non-organic particles and a part from cemented carbide with molten metal or metal alloy with further curing of metal or metal alloy for formation of the product.
EFFECT: obtained product has a specified combination of such properties as strength, wear resistance and hardness.
