FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device relates to electric rocket engines operating on dust used as working medium for generation of thrust. Proposed device keeps working medium in one or more capsules arranged in magazine and incorporates dusty working medium drive which allows withdrawing the capsule from magazine cell and pushing it in engine acceleration chamber and withdrawing it therefrom. Note here that said capsule has shell from dielectric material, bottom and quick release cover detachable nearby engine acceleration electrode, first as seen along working medium flow.
EFFECT: ruled out direct contact and friction between mechanisms and dusty working medium, control feed, decreased overall dimensions.
