FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power converter for automotive engine. Proposed device comprises first and second power conversion units, power accumulation unit and first control unit. First power conversion unit converts input voltage from external power supply into required constant current. Second power conversion unit is connected to output of the first power conversion unit to actuate the load. Power accumulation unit is connected to output of first power converter. First control unit controls over first power conversion unit. First control unit comprises first unit of generation of electric magnitudes control instructions and current control unit. Said unit of generation of electric magnitudes control instructions generates appropriate control instruction of adjust electric current or electric power of power accumulation unit. Current control unit generates switching signal to make electric current or electric power at first power converter mating the first instruction for control over electric magnitude.

EFFECT: efficient control over power flow between overhead wire, inverter unit and power accumulation unit.
