FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises a device for feeding of a damper to a furnace window and a mechanism for pressing of the damper to the furnace window. The device for feeding the damper to the furnace window includes an electric drive, two counterbalances, four welded brackets with four rotary rollers in them, having sliding bearings and placed onto two axes, two ropes, two safety chains, the damper and a windowsill with two stops lined in it. The mechanism for pressing of the damper to the furnace window comprises four rolls, shafts of which are welded to the damper frame, four brackets, welded to the horizontal channel bars of the furnace, four guides welded to the brackets, two clamps, having handles and moving horizontally with the capability of gripping the damper and pressing it to the furnace window.
