FIELD: furnaces.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a reverberatory furnace for aluminum scrap remelting. Furnace comprises housing formed by refractory outer side, front and rear end walls, a storage bath and an inclined platform limited by a bottom and walls, an arch, two drain tap holes, two rotary bowls with welded chutes, a gas duct and a welded frame, on which everything is arranged. Welded frame is filled with concrete with filler from crumb of light-weight chamotte bricks, is laid inside by two layers of heat-insulating mullite-siliceous rolled material and installed on pedestal, inside which there are four rows of chamotte light-weight bricks. Accumulating bath is made of corundum medium-density blocks, laid on four heat-insulating layers of mullite-siliceous roll material and pad of quartz sand, and inclined platform is made of corundum medium-density blocks, laid on two heat-insulating layers of mullite-siliceous reeled material of grade and pad of quartz sand. In front wall of housing there are two rows of injection twelve-mix burners of medium pressure, wherein lower row of burners with smooth inner surface of mixers, which form torch with length of 1.4 meters, is directed at an angle to inclined platform, and upper row of cylindrical burners, made with ribs of different length on ends of mixers inside central channel, giving during combustion of gas-air mixture torches 2.5 meters and 3.4 meters, directed at an angle to hearth furnace bottom, wherein the arch has heat insulation, between the masonry from the refractory one-and-a-half bricks with the vault and the hoe, an economiser is mounted; in furnace side walls there are two working windows equipped with electric drives of furnace dampers lifting and lowering and two working windows with manual drive of furnace dampers lifting and lowering, which also function as slag windows, and in rear end wall – two tapes for discharge of molten metal, made in quick-change reinforced scrap brick, wherein furnace has dust-and-gas cleaning system.
EFFECT: providing high efficiency of the furnace, reduction of heat losses, possibility of ecologically pure remelting of aluminum scrap.
