FIELD: furnaces.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tandem reflector furnace for remelting of aluminum scrap. Furnace comprises housing formed by refractory outer side, front and rear end walls, limited by hearths and walls of storage baths, inclined platforms, two large archs – lower and upper, located one above the other with formation between them gap for chimney, upper vaults over inclined platforms, working and slag windows with device for lifting and lowering working and slag windows, having electric drive, drain tap holes, welded frame, on which there is a housing, gas duct with economizer built into the boilers and a dust and gas cleaning system configured to operate on natural and artificial draft, wherein the welded frame is filled with concrete with diatomite crumb filler, has three heat-insulating layers of light-weight brick and sheet asbestos cardboard under the bottom, three heat-insulating layers from light-weight brick SHL-0.4 and four layers of sheet asbestos cardboard under an inclined platform, two inclined platforms and supports of two baths are made of corundum units KS-95, laid on three layers of asbestos cardboard with padding from diatomite crumbs, mixed with milled asbestos crumb, wherein the inclined platforms and the two bath towers are separated by a wall, the steel box is welded to the furnace frame, having a heat insulation between it and each wall, consisting of asbestos crumbs, refractory wool, refractory mats, diatomite crumbs and heat-insulating mullite MLF-260 grade glass-fiber layer, upper vaults above inclined platforms and baths have double layer of refractory heat-insulating mullite-siliceous felt MKRV-200, double layer of fire-resistant heat-insulating mats, at that, in the front end wall there are six three-row medium-pressure injection burners directed at an angle to inclined platforms, in the rear end wall there are six three-row thirty-three-mix burners directed at an angle to the hearths, in the walls of the furnace there are four working windows, two of which are slag, in the rear end wall there are four tapes. Furnace has rotary lined chutes with intermediate tips, rotary lined bowls with a long lined chute with two handles for pouring metal into pouring equipment.

EFFECT: enabling the furnace high efficiency, reducing of heat and metal loss losses, and possibility of the aluminum scrap environmentally friendly remelting.
