FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed method comprises making wax investment pattern, making refractory shell mould by layer-by-layer application of refractory coat on wax patter, drying of every layer and making investment pattern. To prevent cracking of shell molds, wax pattern with shell mould applied thereat is cooled by 7-16°C.
EFFECT: rules out cracking of shell moulds.
