FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high molecular weight compounds, particularly to production of polymer products based on 1,2-polybutadienes which contain epoxy groups in macromolecules. Described is a method of producing epoxidated 1,2-polybutadienes, which involves reacting a polymer with an opoxidation agent which contains carboxylic acid and hydrogen peroxide, characterised by that the polymer used is nonwoven material consisting of 1,2-polybutadiene fibre with diameter of 1.1-3.5 mcm, surface density of the nonwoven material of 40-80 g/cm2, the carboxylic acid used being methanoic acid with molar ratio 1,2-polybutadiene: methanoic acid 1.0:0.2-1.0, 1,2-polybutadiene: hydrogen peroxide1.0:0.5-2; synthesis is carried out at temperature of 10-30°C for 1-4 hours.
EFFECT: obtaining epoxidated 1,2-polybutadienes using a method characterised by high safety, avoiding use of organic solvents during synthesis, low power consumption, high quality of the end product.
