FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: X-ray imaging device comprises a dividing element capable of spatially dividing X-ray radiation emitted from an X-ray source, a scintillator capable of emitting light when a divided beam of X-ray radiation, divided at the dividing element, falls on the scintillator, a light transmission limiting unit capable of limiting transmission of light emitted by the scintillator, and a plurality of light detectors, each capable of detecting the amount of light passing through the light transmission limiting unit. The light transmission limiting unit is such that intensity of light detected at each light detector varies according to change in the position of incidence of the X-ray beam.
EFFECT: obtaining a differential phase on the contrast image of an object without using a screening mask for X-ray radiation.
