FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: solution of a sulphonating agent in a polar solvent is prepared and a polymer is added in an amount which ensures nominal sulphonation of repeating polymer units. The obtained mixture is stirred for 1-24 hours. The sulpho-polymer is then washed with water and dried to constant mass by evaporation at temperature of 50-70°C, vacuum drying or natural evaporation in an open environment. The polymer used is polyethercarbonate (meth)acrylate. The sulphonating agent is selected from: sulphuric acid, chlorosulphonic acid, sulphamic acid, acetyl sulphate, sodium bisulphite. The polar solvent is selected from a group comprising water, primary alcohols - methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, amines - diethylamine, triethylamine, acetone, diethyl ether, carboxylic acids - formic acid, acetic acid, esters and amides of carboxylic acids: methyl-, ethyl-, butyl acetate, dimethyl sulphoxide, dimethyl formamide, diemthyl acetamide.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain an ion-exchange material using a method which is easy to implement, cheap and environmentally friendly.
