FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed pump to be controlled by electronic control unit (ECU) comprises at least one lubricant inlet and one lubricant outlet and at least one piston reciprocating between position of full stroke and full IN position to transfer lubricant from inlet to outlet. Pump comprises electric actuator connected with said piston to drive it, first electric conductor connected with pump first element for electric connection between said element and ECU and second electric conductor connected with pump second element for connection of said second element with ECU. With piston in full stroke position, electric circuit between first and second conductors is closed while with piston in full IN position said circuit is broken. Invention discloses the method of control over engine with such pump.
EFFECT: nonlinear relationship between oil feed and engine rpm.
